Jung as LS 990 in Anthracite

In the north-east of Madrid, the Ciudad Real Madrid covers over 120 hectare and is the training complex of the Spanish football club of the same name. Responsible for the construction was the internationally active team of Estudio Lamela Arquitectos. The heart of the complex is the T-shaped main building, which offers changing, training and meeting rooms as well as medical care for the professional players.

 

The northern wing of the building is used as a residence for the first team – 60 single rooms alongside social areas and recreation areas are available for the squad and coaching staff. Twelve football pitches surround the accommodation. Estudio Lamela Arquitectos kept the building of the Ciudad Real Madrid very simple. The important things were good ventilation and natural light.

 

The rooms, discretely implemented from inside and outside, place the focus on the basics: the green football pitches around them. Even the interior of the accommodation for the professional players was designed without frills. Designer Frances Rifé and his studio opted for clear lines and reserved colours. Elements in wood create warmth and a link to the outdoors around them.

 

Subtle elegance: In the entire accommodation for the first team, both in the single rooms and in the social areas, the LS 990 in aluminium anthracite from JUNG were installed and form a harmonious connection with the colour concept chosen by Rifé.
