A young couple moving into Cobble Hill to start a life together, wanted their home to feel mature while also being youthful and useable.
Within the open layout we aimed to make each area feel special/unique yet still visually connected and balanced.
The millwork was designed to carry through the open living and dining space, to add warmth and storage. The doors and Hearth cabinet fireplace were cladded with Xtone from Porcelanosa. The dining chandelier is by Brooklyn based Pelle and the vibrant textile artwork is by LA’s Nike Schroeder.
A custom mural was designed and painted by Heather Jozak Studios to fill the double height space of the stair. Matthew McCormick pendants softly illuminate the mural.
In the bedroom having just one functional layout option a headboard that wouldn’t block the light or view was a must. The bed and nightstands are by Isle Crawford for De La Espada via The Future Perfect.
The brass ceiling light in the bedroom is by NY based Workstead and Artemide table lamps sit atop the nightstands. An Eskayel custom pillow sits on the bed as functional art as does the dresser mirror by Ben & Aja Blanc.
