Constantine Exhibition Centre

PTW Architects as Architects

PTW in joint venture with CCDI recently won the second stage of a competition in Algeria to design and document the first stage for the Exhibition Centre in Constantine. The project is to be completed in early 2015 for the Arab Arts festival to be held in Constantine, Algeria, during 2015.

The design programme requires the building complex to be designed in two stages. The design is based on the triangle, a basic geometric element of Arabic patterns. The design place 3 exhibition halls around a triangular space. The space will act an oasis, for relaxation and meetings for the complex. The entire façade structure and patterning is also based on the repetition of the triangle.
