Comforts such as a television and internet connection are standard issue. Each patient's room also has an en suite bathroom with shower and WC. Here too, much value has been placed in not only designing the bathroom units to fulfil the functional requirements, but also to add as many homely elements as possible too. The products used are intended to promote the patients' independence, without being identifiable as medical aids. A good example of how attractive design and accessibility does not have to be a contradiction in terms is the washbasins used. They unite award-winning design and practicality.
