Eco-lodges – Île de la Réunion

Site and commission At the request of Atout France in association with the office KANOPPEE, we are initiating innovative projects for eco-lodges on the Island of the Reunion. We have initially selected three remarkable sites of implantation amongst the ten proposed: the tropical forest of Belouve, the volcano of the Fournaise and the east coast if the Island facing the Indian Ocean. Three projects as well as three prototypes have been conceived in harmony with their site and respecting their environment: local construction techniques, insertion in the landscape, minimum structural impact, reversibility of the works, bioclimatic treatment of environmental ambiance, waste management and vegetal regeneration.
