Gads Hill Center Childcare and Community Center

JGMA as Architects

The Gads Hill Day Care and Brighton Park Community Center is located at 4319 South Archer Avenue in Chicago Illinois. This is centrally located in the Brighton Park neighborhood. The current site is 34,375 square feet and currently occupied by a 20,000 square foot vacant carpet dealership. This building will be demolished for site development and any environmental remediation will be done at this time. A new 19,891 square feet two story steel and glass structure will be developed. It will serve a total of 198 children from infant to preschool with an afterschool program.

The building wraps an interior 4,000 square foot child play area. A vehicular drop-off area and fifteen parking spaces are also provided. The project is being designed to meet LEED Silver Certification. This site location will revitalize this community with a day care and community center, a building the entire community will be proud of.
