The perfect puzzle piece is a good way to describe our intervention on this property. The homeowners are an active couple who regularly entertain and were looking to add more gathering space both indoor and outdoor.
An existing garage was added after the initial build and didn’t connect internally to the home. Our solution is a bridge that connects garage to house and house to garden. The once inwardly focused home, now makes a concerted hand-shake with the new garden space.
The storm water is kept and managed on site, with the design of a storm water planter. The large covered deck extends the family room inside and extends the time spent outside, in all weather. Oh and you no longer have to run upstairs to use the bathroom. The little things make all the difference.
