Pure design at the GROHE Headquarter in Düsseldorf

GROHE as Manufacturers

Light-flooded rooms, generous glass facades and an idyllic view across a green park. It is hard to imagine a more contemporary office building. New York-based Richard Meier & Partners Architects came up with the plans to refurbish and extend the existing office building at Düsseldorf’s Feldmühleplatz to the highest standards. Two five-floor buildings have been added, bringing the total space to 46,000 square metres. The entire ensemble is characterised by stylish glass elements. This generous use of glass is no coincidence - renowned architect Richard Meier believes: “Light is the most important thing. Light is life.”

Needless to say, the core of the building has been equipped and furnished to reflect the state of the art as well. All materials have been chosen carefully to create a highly modern office environment, with clear lines and light-flooded rooms helping to minimise the stress of 21st century office life.

What building could be better suited to house the GROHE centre? The open atmosphere created by the architecture provides an ideal environment for the kind of creative day-to-day work done at the GROHE Design Studio. Customers and visitors are invited to experience exclusive new products in the GROHE Store.

The innovative products marketed in this forward-looking building have also been installed in the kitchen and sanitary areas. Equipped with GROHE Blue® faucets, the kitchens treat employees to freshly filtered and tasty table water. The wash basins in the sanitary areas feature touchless GROHE Allure E faucets for maximum hygiene and minimised water consumption, with GROHE Veris single-lever mixers adding an emotional touch to this purist environment.
