Seeking to dispel preconceptions that an FBI building should be introverted and fortress-like, SOM’s design for the new Field Office in Denver is a light and functionally efficient facility which exceeds LEED® requirements, while meeting the necessary levels of security necessary for an FBI Field Office. In every aspect, the comfort and health of the employees and staff were given utmost consideration, setting new precedents for the future design of FBI Field Offices.
