Hall of Diamonds is a premier diamond mining and production company based in Johannesburg South Africa. They approached Karpinski Design to create a completely new headquarters for their local and global diamond operation. They occupy an entire 1500 Sq M floor in one of Sandton, Johannesburg’s most iconic buildings. The pared-back, neutrally inspired interior houses various offices for directors, catering facilities, a prayer room, new ablutions, and other office-related areas for their global head office. The facility also houses their manufacturing and diamond polishing arm, jewellery showroom, and related sub-business under one collective roof.

Every piece of fitted furniture was custom made by local companies and carefully installed to create a cohesive feeling, to a very bespoke interior. Numerous local art pieces were installed at the end of the fit-out process to soften the corporate interior and bring in a subtle sense of fun to the office environment. Karpinski design was the principal agent and took this project from a concrete shell, all the way to a timeless and inviting home for Hall of diamonds.
