Hamsainvest Hamburg - Groundcontrol to Hansainvest

Seel Bobsin Partner - sbp as Interior Architects

The decision of the financial services provider HANSAINVEST to renew its own brand identity was combined with the wish to move into new space.
The working title "Mars Mission" included the process that wanted to define a new way of working and also the cultural self-image and the entire external and internal appearance of the company.
One of the goals was to develop a new, strong brand identity that provides orientation and creates an emotional connection between employees and the company.

Over 3 floors and an area of around 6.000 sqm sbp developed a holistic spatial scenario that offers a healthy mix of classic workplaces, retreats and work opportunities, communication venues and communal areas.
Carefully selected materials and special furniture, a new defined color scheme, matching graphic elements
for orientation and identification are the main elements of the new office design.

sbp and the Hansainvest project team entered the planning process at the start of the first corona-related lockdown in 2020. What initially seemed like a risk turned out to be an opportunity for a more consistent change in the way  we were used to work.

sbp developed modules of open work areas, think tanks, meeting and project rooms as well as telephone booths distributed across all areas. These can be flexibly adapted in their function and equipment to the future requirements and needs of their users.

The design of areas that serve social exchange, "family life" was given special attention in this design.
The heart of Hansainvest's new understanding of culture is certainly the approximately 400 sqm large marketplace:
It is multifunctionally furnished and equipped with comprehensive media technology, offering different possibilities for internal and external communication.
A separate game lounge with table foodball and air hockey also invites the employees to get active or watch sports together.

As soon as it was possible due to the pandemic people continued to take advantage of the opportunity to work flexibly in the home office, but are just as happy to come back to the office to celebrate the wide range of work opportunities, communication, exchanges with the team and social activities.
