The European Netwerk operator of the electricity transmission grid in the Netherlands and a large part of Germany is housed in a highly durable headquarters: the Mariëndaal Centre of Excellence in Arnhem. The property has been carefully integrated into the landscape. The four-storey office space is intended for 1050 flex work places. The predominantly transparent ground floor follows the natural topography and is the meeting area, acoustics plays an important role. For the entrance and the corridor zones in the conference center was chosen for specially perforated tiles. The continuous pattern of the tiles has been specially developed in collaboration with Studio Groen + Schild. The ceilings are finished with a cradle 2 cradle powder coat finish.
