Imperial Treasure Fine Chinese Cuisine

Studio Jean-Philippe Nuel as Architects

The interior design of the Imperial Treasure restaurant was conceived in the continuity of the design concept of hotel residence La Clef Champs-Elysées. It offers a unique experience to allow customers to feel at home and experience Paris differently.

Independently run, the restaurant is open to both hotel guests and Chinese gastronomy enthusiasts, and its main entrance is directly on Rue Bassano.

The decorative concept of the restaurant is conceived in the image of Parisian apartments where several rooms are articulated around a corridor-reception.

These rooms, designed like lounges, host a lounge-bar area and several dining areas including a private one. The domestic character of the decoration can be seen in the choice of curtains, the presence of large mirrors and marble fireplaces.

Two symbolic colors: black and white predominate to create a timeless elegance whose assumed modernity is gathered in the reflections of the ceilings and the graphic games with the materials, the floor and the furniture.

The bar, visible in transparency from the street, offers a cozy and confidential lounge atmospherewhile adopting a domestic language (Point de Hongrie wooden floor, rug..). The backlit bar shelves are arranged behind a marble counter. Our studio works there against a set of reflections and materials such as velvet, metal, wood and marble and colors such as black, gold and white.

The whole project revisits the design codes of the Parisian apartment and evokes the Chinese tradition thanks to a subtle choice of iconic artworks and accessories.
