The starting point for this project`s conception was the integration of the internal spaces with the outside nature. Designed for a young couple, we aimed to crate a cozy and modern atmosphere.
The natural materials utilized here such as the Navona marble, flax weft and rough linen as well as the furniture and art pieces were selected to establish this coziness and a soul that reflects the owners lifestyle - connected to nature and poetry.
One of the projects highlights is the living with double height ceiling. It features a wooden brise-soleil that allows sunlight to pour in simultaneously creating a sculptural play of light and shadow.
The house has 3 floors. On the ground level we find the social areas, living, dinner room, gourmet room and home theater - all of these face the the garden area and swimming pool. In the underground level there is the service area as well as a wine cellar under the main staircase. On the upper level are the more private areas of the residence with 3 suites, private living area and home office that are enclosed by carefully designed moving wooden panels. This ensures privacy for work moments is flexible to allow openness to allow the family to remain connected.
Furniture was carefully chosen and is comprised of great Brazilian designers such as Sergio Rodrigues and Ricardo Fasanelo.
