Tannheim, the largest village in central Tannheimer Tal, is situated at an altitude of slightly more than 1,000 m, which makes it an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts. Local residents and tourists can enjoy the high valley all year round, hiking through green meadows, riding up and down on mountain bikes, skiing down the slopes in winter, or exploring the mountain landscape on snowshoes. Jungbrunn, which is a unique Alpine lifestyle hotel, is integrated in this landscape.
The hotel was founded in 1957 by Raimund Gutheinz. He became known throughout the region for the concept, which was revolutionary at the time. He built the first ski lift in Tannheimer Tal. Raimund Gutheinz has also continuously developed his ideas for the hotel industry further. His son and his family have also adopted this guiding principle of always staying one step ahead. The hotel has been expanded continuously to transform it into a wellness oasis to fulfil the growing demands of guests. When doing so, the family placed a great deal of value on traditions.
Guests can choose from a total of 81 rooms in twelve different categories. Something is available to suit any taste: from rustic double rooms to apartments styled like ski lodges and even luxury suits. Each room features an individual design, giving it a personal touch. High-quality materials such as barn and larch wood were used. The hoteliers selected the Gira E2 switch series to match the interior concept. The reduced design and clear form of this switch line correspond excellently to the interior design concept. Switches and socket outlets from the Gira E2 series were also installed in both restaurants.
