Arper refurbished the Business Lounges of Katowice International Airport in Southern Poland, completed in 2013 by the Warsaw-based team at global architecture, urbanism and design practice Broadway Malyan Architects. A welcoming, luxurious and elegant interior especially designed to make the time spent by passengers awaiting a flight more pleasant and comfortable. Here passengers can relax on Arper Sean sofa or Aston armchairs, have some work done on a Masai armchair or enjoy a quick brunch at the bar, sitting on Babar stools.
The Business Lounges located in the departure areas of Terminals A and B of the airport are part of the first phase of an ambitious expansion plan. In fact the International Airport in Katowice is constantly developing: in the near future, further extensions are planned, such as the construction of a third passenger terminal and a new runway strip.
