The assignment consisted in building a publicity agency comprised of two buildings constructed in different stages. The first one was as a radical intervention in a pre-existing building by modifying its use and image but respecting the structure.
The building is located facing a high-speed highway. The project proposes a red body that delimitates access, forming a portico which delimitate green areas and at the same time is the support for the company's advertising logo. A pre-existing stair in the building that served as an emergency escape was reused as a connection between the first building and the new one. This connection is achieved through a red box which levels the difference in the floor levels of each building. This extension was designed as integration to the pre-existing building that brings the plotting room, a small auditorium, and penthouse creative spaces together. The volumetry reflects the distribution of interior space. Natural light and open floor were priority aspects in the design.
