IwamotoScott was commissioned to design this upper level floor in the new Salesforce Towerto to accommodate a venture capital company headquarters, alongside meeting spaces, co-working program, hospitality and multi-use event spaces. Panoramic views overlooking the SF Bay Area in all directions informed the design concepts, and drove the space-making, configuration of programmatic areas, and the selection of finish materials. A new bar is housed within an old brick arched niche which originally acted as one of the warehouse doorways.
From the reception lobby, a circulation loop links together meeting
spaces, lounges, workspace and bespoke hospitality spaces, served by
a full suite of food and beverage facilities. The main working and dining
space is defined by a wood ceiling canopy spanning over a mix of built-in
booth seating and flexible furniture groupings. IwamotoScott designed
and detailed all millwork and finishes, and made all furniture selections
to fit the brand identity and the larger themes of the project.
