Loyola university chicago - The Richard J. Klarchek Information Commons

SCB as Architects

On the shores of Lake Michigan, Loyola University Chicago’s Information Commons serves as a hub for students with an open, daylight setting design and breathtaking views. Realizing the need for a collaborative space for web-based research, the Information Commons is a library of the digital age. This LEED Silver building combines computer technology and innovative building systems with an inspirational, open and flexible design to celebrate a new era of campus architecture focused on student collaboration and resource conservation.
