UHPC Scales for the National training center building

Sadev Architectural Glass Systems as Engineers

Since the construction of the National Training Center, the house of the French Tennis, 25 years ago within the Roland-Garros stage, the french Tennins Federation never stopped its development. The premises of the CNE needed refresh rate. Designed by the architect Marc Mimram, the new CNE project included the creation of 5 architectural units which met the skates of French Tennins Federation.

The building have moved to a new location. They associate 7 short flatware, supervision depatments, a health center, accomodations and 4 outdoor tennis courts : the whole distributed on a 1.3 hectares surface.

The Léon Grosse Company requested Sadev know-how for the construction of this building, composed of scales in UHPC. The challenge was to find a solution which can be suitable to the different shapes.

Sadev equiped 900 blades of an articulated hook system, meeting the architect's requirements (no visible binding on the outside facades) and those of Léon Grosse (a unique system for most configurations, capable to tak back the structure's defects).
