For the redesign of the common areas of a large law firm located on the 25th floor of the Main Tower, we created a very special retreat for the employees by developing new spatial structures. From the newly established employee lounge, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the Frankfurt city center. An integrated color and material concept, inspired by the geometric floor plan of the building, creates a serene atmosphere that reflects the high quality and mindset of the law firm.
The old hierarchical structure of the corner office was replaced in favor of a new multifunctional space for all employees. Two adjacent office rooms were merged into one spacious area, which now invites people to linger with its new design and coordinated furnishings. To divide the space into different areas, a "stand-in furniture" was developed. It is a high-quality presentation piece for current news and magazines while also serving as a work desk and a place for exchange.
In the rear area of the newly created employee lounge, the expectations of a traditional meeting room layout are playfully reimagined. The round dining table provides the opportunity to gather in a group, discuss new ideas, and enjoy the view over the skyline. The harmonious combination of tranquil blue tones on the walls with the high-quality finishes of the furnishings gives the room its distinctive character.
