The Office of Art Exhibitions was founded in 1965. Since that time, a building where the office is located has undergone a number of renovations aimed at streamlining its operation. The Office of Art Exhibitions has been cooperating with local art community since the very beginning. The organization's priority was to organize the space where local artists could exhibit their works. The interior is decorated with neutral colours and shades. This is a deliberate action that allows to exhibit works without exposing the interior itself. The exhibition area is situated on the ground floor while offices placed in the attic. To illuminate them with natural light, roof windows have been installed along with roller shutters which provide protection against overheating and light reflection. Very important aspect in every public utility building is a fire protection. One of the smoke protection measures are smoke ventilation windows, which not only get rid of smoke but also ventilate the room.
