This small format residential building is located in a small plot in front of an urban park (El Virrey park).
Its concept is the reinterpretation of the previously existing house architecture, consisting of a first floor basement and an overriding superposed box on the second floor. As part of the concept, it was repeated three times in order to create a sequence between mass and void. The empty box is an envelope for a flexible interior program, giving a coherent image to the building. The three boxes are floating between themselves proving a contradictory image of levity. The selected materials compose a dual relationship of contrasting cold clear concrete and warm dark wood.
