Martinuzzi Interiors aimed to create the best design solution with minimal intervention. The restyling consisted of a bespoke color and material concept that not only reflects the modern architecture of the villa but also adds a meaningful touch of on-the-button luxury. The design process consisted of finding the perfect color palette that would create a neutral base for future developments and would complement the existing features such as the cowhide wallpaper and the hard cement flooring. The combination of warm and cold grey colors with the existing elements highlights the re-modernization and transforms the property into a refined living space. The concept intelligently balances hard and soft through the use of texture, layout, and materials to achieve a sophisticated new look.
For the other areas of the villa, the harmony was carried out with the different shades of grey color. The concrete flooring extends into the staircase and the landings, the Arte wallpaper surrounds the entire ground floor and continues into the upstairs study and guest bedroom in the basement. The zebra wallpaper stays true to the natural theme of the cowhide wallpaper used in the bedroom and adds dimension to the restyled guest bedrooms. A play on masculinity and reflections can be found in the mirror covered wall behind the staircase landing, the polished stone in the bathrooms and the light reflecting from the petrified wood. The final result is a feeling of living with style and harmony.
