This New York City Academic Medical Center & Hospital, known for its cutting-edge technology and advances, found LC Privacy Glass, with eGlass® technology, to be a perfect fit when planning their new renovation. LC Privacy Glass was used in several areas throughout the hospital, such as viewing walls of operating rooms, sliding doors in ICUs, and as windows between connecting patient rooms.
In operating rooms, our switchable electronic glass helped set an ideal learning environment for students to observe intense surgeries and for the doctors to control what the students were able to see. In patient rooms, electronic LC Privacy Glass was used in the dividing walls with switches on both sides, making it easier for nurses to monitor patients in adjacent rooms, allowing them to offer enhanced patient care.
LC Privacy Glass also offers valuable advantages over typical hospital curtains when it comes to patient privacy and extreme infection control.
