Clerkenwell Design Week 2023: from 23 to 25 May, the latest in ceramic and stoneware from Marazzi in the renewed St. John Street flagship showroom
The stars are the small, colourful brick tiles of the Crogiolo Confetto collection alongside the exquisite large slabs and the innovative library of Marazzi products for professionals
To mark London’s Design Week, the vibrant festival held in Clerkenwell, the heart of the city’s architecture and design scene, Marazzi presents its latest ceramic and porcelain stoneware collections in a new display setup. Confetto, the most recent innovation to the Crogiolo collection, the Marazzi programme that explores industrial craftsmanship to rediscover the beauty of authentic ceramics with exclusive, latestgeneration technologies, stars together with the exquisite material effects reproduced by the extra-large marble-look porcelain stoneware slabs in the Grande and The Top collections.
At the entrance to the showroom, visitors are welcomed by the “soft” surface of the Confetto brick tiles alternating with the Savoiardo 3D structure in shades that dialogue with the Verde Borgogna slabs of the Grande Marble Look collection. The semi-matt small size tiles are teamed with the infinite shade variations of marble-effect stoneware, able to meet the multiple demands of contemporary design. Amongst the new surfaces, the new assortment of onyx, in Onice Avorio, Onice Nero, Onice Beige and Onice Giada colours, the elegant Calacatta Black and the more expressive Crema Marfil and Tafu impress with their immaculate sophistication. Rare marbles come to life again, in more sustainable form than their originals, in polished or natural version, on interior design surfaces and features.
On the first floor of the showroom the new layout has created a materials library for architects, interior designers, dealers and consumers in search of inspiration: a physical catalogue of products, where surfaces, textures and colours can be touched and combined exactly to taste. This area provides the tools needed to research and develop ideas and projects, since users can examine and compare products, and discover their individual features and intrinsic technologies.
Adopted in the Marble Look and Stone Look finishes, The Top large slabs cover tables and countertops and guarantee hygiene, strength and durability. The Top provides excellent technical performance, the result of exclusive research into material and the application of leading-edge technologies.
