The Milanese architecture studio Atelier46 was involved in the design of Yumi, an Asian cuisine restaurant in Paderno Dugnano (Milan, Italy). The restaurant is located inside the Brianza Shopping Center, so the place was designed to have visibility and accessibility and, at the same time, to guarantee privacy and confidentiality to the diners.
The Yumi restaurant has a fresh and welcoming atmosphere, with an exotic touch that recalls the dishes on offer. For the interior of the restaurant, the studio has carried out careful research on the materials and finishes to be combined, in order not to leave out any detail. In particular, Aterlier46 has selected natural materials, such as stone and oak, and combined them with the pastel colors of the furnishings, the raffia lamps, and the 'Rico' wallpaper by Tecnografica. The jungle design of 'Rico' takes up the exotic flavor that the studio has tried to instill in the restaurant, and it is also a perfect interior design element to capture the attention of passersby inside the mall.
