The Office is located in a central commercial building in Brasilia. With a small internal area of 35 square meters, the space has the setting of both working and meeting tables and a sitting room as its leading program goals, other than a kitchen, a lavatory, a bathroom and several storage spaces.
The original plan, which had an irregular wall distribution, was divided in two by placing a set of cabinets along a line parallel to the windows, interrupted only by the entrance corridor. That way, space could be cleared so that working table, sitting room and meeting table could be comprised in the same room. Service and storage areas were separated from the main working space by the cabinets, with the use of folding timber doors. Elevated white cabinets were placed on the side walls answering to the storage needs of both working and meeting spaces.
