Conversion / extension
A chocolate factory that is no longer a chocolate factory, a history association that has plans to set up a town museum and a town council that has supported the conversion and extension of the listed Sarotti workshop building from the outset.

Steel systems from Jansen play a major role in preserving the original appearance. Vertical lines and floor-to-ceiling windows alternating with enclosed surfaces provide structure to the elongated south facade of the extension. Both gable ends have been glazed with the VISS post and mullion facade system.
