The first major polyolefin manufacturer in Southeast Asia in operations since 1984, The Polyolefin Company (TPC) Singapore has continually maintained its competitive edge through innovation, a commitment that extends to its office environment as well as technology.
As the future of work continues to evolve, TPC Singapore worked with Conexus Studio to design a creative and dynamic office environment that supports the company’s projected growth and the new aspirations of its workforce. The office remodelling paves the way for the firm to transition into a modern hybrid workplace, equipped to support remote and hybrid work employees as well as facilitate streamlined collaboration between teams and departments.
Where Work Just Flows
The design language of the new office layout is informed by an organic flow and connection that drives both team-based and individual work. Various spaces are created for different work modes, designed to be conducive and either visually or acoustically private to ensure comfort, focus, and accessibility.
The open office area incorporates a hot-desking system and also provides adaptable workspaces that can be transformed from an individual workstation to a collaborative setup. To further encourage communication amongst staff, areas such as breakout spaces and meeting rooms have been designed to offer flexibility while enabling efficient collaboration between teams.
A Place to Grow and Thrive
The new office design has been carefully crafted to provide an inspiring atmosphere that encourages creativity and employee engagement. The furniture and materials palette include vibrant colours, natural textures and finishes, as well as thoughtful acoustic treatments which allow employees to work comfortably while feeling motivated in the workplace, at the same time reducing noise disruption from adjacent spaces.
An open-plan layout also provides ample opportunities for informal discussions or gatherings with colleagues, creating a sense of connection within the office community. Natural light is maximised in TPC's new office to create a more energizing atmosphere, with plants also incorporated to promote well-being.
