The Schumacher

Morris Adjmi Architects as Architects

This former printing loft building in NoHo has been converted into 20 condominium and mansion residences arranged around an open courtyard landscaped by Ken Smith. With approval from the New York Landmarks Preservation Commission, the façade has been extensively restored to its original condition and a pediment atop the building recreated from historic drawings and photographs. Residences range between two and fourbedroom in size and retain original building features, such as barrel-vaulted brick ceilings and broken-arched windows. Building amenities include a library, fitness gym, and children’s play room.
