JGMA's interiors for the United Neighborhood Organization's (UNO) new elementary school in Chicago are designed to encourage activity between indoor and outdoor spaces. The classrooms and corridors all have spectacular views of the city and surrounding neighborhood. In addition to the soccer field located in the courtyard, the soccer academy concept is carried into the interior. Throughout the facility various classrooms are categorized in relation to previous and future world cup host countries with graphics and flag colors. Along the corridor walls are a serious of inspirational and educational graphics which link, culture, geography, and history to soccer, which is a staple in the Latino community. The project is currently under construction (scheduled to be completed by September 2011) and is pursuing LEED Silver Certification
