Villa H

TREF-A / Ing. Arch. Zdeněk TREFIL as Architects

The villa is situated on the southern edge of a norththward sloping plot with an area of approx. 3,000 square meters. The site is offering a beautiful view oft the city of Valasske Mezirici. This view plays a crucial role in all residential rooms, especialy the main bedroom with the enclosed balcony and the main living area with surrounding terrace do offer a whole variety of attractive views of the surrounding environment. The building is mainly a wooden structure made according to local traditional construction techniques, which is, however, technologically advanced to the contemporary level.

The cross-glued wooden panels combined with load-bearing steel elements give rise to a traditional wooden house of the third millennium. The concept of the interior space is a variation of the “plan libre”. All residential rooms face east - north, while the entrance courtyard, garage and non-residential area face the south-west..The building is designed as a passive house with an intelligent system of control of the building, and central heating provided by heat pumps. Materials used – wood, concrete, metal, glass, stone.

Material Used:

1. NOVATOP System

2. TWW Windows
