The building lies in a heterogeneous residential district which doesn’t show any mutual or high-class features.
The sculptural – looking building is sectioned into three different zones; the heated two-storey main body, the garage and the two covered outdoor spaces.
The ground floor holds the open living come dining room and adjoining rooms. Upstairs are the bedrooms and the bathroom.
A generous flowing spatial figure shapes the inner circulation area. The whole composition develops in all dimensions, from the expansive concrete forecourt over the garage with the two canopy areas to the double-height volume, which ends with the south-east façade. The façade with slaked sand-lime brick masonry takes into account the clients desire for a solid, sturdy house, with canopies and paved outdoor areas designed as raw concrete slabs.
