Conceptual approach: Split-level-concept - allowing a smooth transition into the garden (i.e. with interior and exterior extensive seating-steps), thus connecting the one-storey deeper lying garden with the living and dining area. A flexible floor plan which corresponds with the changing living situations Cost-optimised building - Ground plan without large circulation areas - simple constructions, simple reinforced concrete flat-slab ceilings - Utilization of the topography in order to avoid elaborate fully built cellars etc. - Strategically placed windows which improve the living and lighting quality - Simple details: i.e. a railing of raw steel sheet painted with transparent varnish
