Born in Montreal in 1973, it's since childhood Olivier Desrochers became interested in design, especially furniture that combine shape and texture. More than his studies in interior design, which he completed in 1999, a trip to Bali was the trigger of his career as a designer item. Inspired by the landscapes, people and markets, he draws the line Nuovo / Nuova furniture that then sends Quebec container. He founded his company in return: OD.
His works are mainly made for individuals looking for a custom design; Olivier Desrochers created with particular emphasis on the study of the relationship between form and space, man and object. Result of this study pieces of furniture also ergonomic and comfortable aesthetic.
