This Italian restaurant was located in the alley near the Ningyocho Station in Tokyo. The emphasis of design is on the site's skeleton and just to add only what you need as a restaurant.
The wood furnishings and the antique church chairs are chosen to balance cool and bare finishes and the counter area is equipped with plenty of storage.
The plan is designed to provide various styles of space, like sofa-benches, tables, a counter and a chef's table in front of the kitchen, so that the customers enjoy visiting time and again.
The ribbed velvet coverings on the walls add a soft look, absorbing the noise at the same time. A small area on the velvet walls is provided for displaying the works of the owner's artist friend and serves as a signboard when lit up for passersby through a glass facade.
