When a couple asked us to create their home in Limassol, we realized it would be more than just a Mediterranean villa. It’s a place for family traditions and warm gatherings, reflecting their openness and connection to nature.
Ground Floor (112 sq.m.)
“We need a space where Sunday family breakfasts can flow into evening gatherings with friends over a glass of wine,” they shared.
This inspired a space with wooden kitchen facades and a large wooden dining table, perfect for both cozy family moments and social gatherings. Influenced by their stories about life in Northern Europe, we added a fireplace in the living room—a rare feature for Limassol’s mild climate but a wonderful focal point.
Second Floor (99 sq.m.)
The master bedroom offers a peaceful retreat from busy schedules, with carefully chosen textures and natural tones. Their son’s room reflects modern values, emphasizing functionality, clean lines, and open space for thoughts and plans. The guest bedroom is also essential, as the family frequently welcomes friends and relatives. We created a comfortable space for guests to relax after an enjoyable evening.
Basement (112 sq.m.)
With modern work arrangements in mind, we designed a quiet home office with good acoustics for online meetings. Considering their busy schedules, we also included a home gym, allowing them to exercise anytime, with a layout designed around their training needs.
The housekeeper’s area is an integral part of the home, featuring a second kitchen and a place to rest, ensuring comfort in the work environment.
In this project, SENCE ARCHITECTS created more than just a modern villa in Limassol—it’s a home where each area serves a purpose, coming together to form the ideal space for this family.
