Located on the fourth floor of EY’s headquarters in Via Meravigli in Milan, EY wavespace is a laboratory of about 800 square meters, designed in collaboration with the ExperienceLab of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and the DEGW studio, a brand of the Lombardini22 group.

The new Milanese hub is divided into two large macro-areas, Meaning Lab and Significance Lab, with different experiential stations that form a path, or rather a journey, of transformative nature.

These environments, realized with the participation of workers from La Scala Theatre, represent a place for reflection and connection with a strong scenic impact, adopting the elements of nature to support human relationships.

A space dedicated to innovation, with the main goal of making people question their own consciousness and designing transformative experiences centered on people themselves.

Newfloor, in collaboration with Vaneton, partner company and supplier of cork by Granorte, supplied 700 square meters of raised floor type G30HAC: 60×60 cm size panels with calcium sulphate core of 30 mm thickness and density 1,500 kg/m3, bottom side in aluminium foil and top covering in cork of different colours.

The chosen colours of cork for this project, Mocha, Bluemoon, Pearl and Purple, were conceived and installed as a pathway conceptually associated with the four elements of nature earth, air, water and fire, connected to each other through specific transition areas.
