Screen House is a contemporary family home with a close connection to nature and landscape. Located on a deep plot, the building footprint is set back to allow the crafting of a generous ground floor purposefully designed for hosting family gatherings and entertainment, with seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces. A sense of arrival is crafted by the experience of walking through the covered barbeque terrace, before entering the double-volume height living space. Upon entry, the height of the living space is accentuated by an assortment of pendant lights at varying heights. Moving to a new space across two levels at Bankers Hall in Calgary, the firm sought to update its office to better reflect its identity and reputation. Occupying a six acre hillside parcel and constrained by access and local regulation, the Hillside House unfolds down an oak studded slope. The structure cuts itself into the land allowing discreet access from the top and concealing the two additional floors below from street view. The middle level houses the public activities of the home and cantilevers a glassy corner into the canopy of an ancient coastal oak tree. The dark cedar wood rainscreen skin allows the bulk of the house to recede into the groves and help to break down the scale of the house. The location of the Nomad house is on Lefkada, specifically at the southern tip of the island. In this location, the hills characteristic of the island gradually disappear into the sea. The house would be situated in close proximity to a wild beach. The beaches on Lefkada are considered the most beautiful in the Ionian Sea. The surroundings of the building will remain untouched, with every stone and bush preserved and left in place. This "nomadic" house is not intended for long-term stays but rather for occasional trips. The owners could spend time in contact with nature, using modern technology as little as possible. The villa is located in the charming Omsheh village near Sangar town, in the beautiful Gilan province of Iran. It has a generous area of approximately 70 square meters and includes two main rooms as well as a spacious veranda. The first room not only leads to the main entrance and kitchen but also provides access to the veranda. The second room functions as a cozy bedroom complete with its toilet and bathroom, benefiting from ample natural light streaming in from the veranda. Arshak Villa-Recreational Town is a meticulously planned development on a sprawling 8000 square meter plot of land in the picturesque Mazandaran province in the north of Iran. The competition focused on designing the facade for the office building of Helal Iranian. The primary objective was to create an attractive and functional facade with a focus on maximizing transparency. Glass materials were strategically used throughout the facade to achieve this goal. The cylindrical form of the glass parts of the facade, which is similar to Iranian historical brick towers and minars, aimed to minimize sunlight reflection and promote efficient airflow, creating a pleasant and well-ventilated environment within the building.
