This 2650 sq.ft. South facing plot is located in the densely populated area of Maninagar, Ahmedabad. The Clients requirement was for a 4 BHK Bungalow, complemented by garden space that promotes a harmonious connection with the nature. This multi-generational family retreat on an oak-studded hilltop west of Healdsburg, CA provides a prototype for sustainable dwelling and resilient development in the “post-climate-change” West. The Jardins do Lago Max Club and Portal is located on land that has a natural lagoon, which is the starting point for the project. The characteristic landscape was the main motivation for seeking an architecture that, in addition to coexisting harmoniously with the environment, also integrated as much as possible with the context of its surroundings, seeking large spans, lightness in its volumes and openings that enhanced the visuals. The project was designed based on creating spaces in connection with nature. The concept of the project was to slide suspended plates on top of each other to affect the stretching of the ground at the high height of the building, the plates that get lighter as they move away from the ground and create an opportunity for the residents to have fun and comfort.
