Up to know, for pedestrians and cyclists it was not easy to commute between the Luxembourg districts Pfaffenthal (lower town) to the Parc Pescatore at the upper town. Now, it is quite different. A 70 m high glass lift system with a self-supporting bridge connects the district Pfaffenthal with the historic upper town of Luxembourg, which belongs to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.An elevator instead of a cableway.
