Chonan March

In Chonan shopping mall, South Korea, Flexglo™ F16 LED lights are installed invisibly on the upper structural line of the exterior to accentuate the texture of the wall.  F16 LED light delivers high lumen and can easily tackle indirect lighting and architectural outlining.  The wall grazing lighting idea not only lends a grandeur to the facade, but also becomes a welcoming addition to the architecture. The lighting and the tree lights down the building combine to produce a delicate balance of high quality exterior lights. More

Dolce Sitges

The brief comprised converting three contiguous rooms into a single room so that it could be used for large office meeting events or weddings while maintaining the option of using them separately. The fixed partitions that separated the central room from the adjacent rooms needed to be replaced by mobile phones that could allow their movement, while maintaining the current capacity if the Hotel required it.  Jump & Fly The appearance of the rooms is simple as the design do not want to distract the users of the event that going to take place. The aim was to design a naked box that the companies or wedding couples could dress up according to their needs, spicing the room up with their branding and display.  Jump & F... More

Sapphire 83

Sapphire 83 is a distinct example of a neighbourhood shopping complex that gives the user an opportunity to ‘shop while walking.’ The project is a combination of multiple amenities, including a Cinema hall run by INOX, 120 service apartments, almost 100 retail outlets and numerous family restaurants. As sustainability concerns are taking predominance and the need for safer public spaces is rising, our approach towards commercial spaces needs to provide a relevant solution. One of the unique models to explore is reflected in Sapphire's design language, straying away from the conventional malls and instead exploring the open-haat typology, thus promoting a sustainable design – access to multiple retail stores and safe open s... Cavatina Concert Hall

The building is contemplated to have a 500-seat indoor concert hall, a 600-seat outdoor ampitheater, an art exhibit space, community meeting rooms and classrooms for both music and art. The genesis of the Concert Hall design is influenced by historical, cultural, environmental and vernacular concepts. Salish and Suquamish Tribal art were significant inspiration for the fluid and organic shape of the building. Crescents, trigons, ovals and other shapes that have been used in wood carving and stylized Salish art are embodied within the architecture of the building. Caption Caption Caption The concept of clarity and contrast were also a major driving force in the design. The local vernacular architecture, the Suquamish Tribe wo... More

Annabelle

This magnificent building in the heart of Lausanne's commercial centre was built in 1912 and has been listed as a note 2 on the inventory of historical monuments since 1975. It is twinned at the opposite corner of the street creating an iconic ensemble on Rue de Bourg. Thomas Jantscher Our intervention is focused on the entrance to Rue Lion d'Or 1 and the three upper levels of the building, which were formerly used for logistics and for the operation of the commercial surface of the emblematic Lausanne brand Annabelle. These were transformed to accommodate quality administrative spaces by strategically incorporating modern facilities while respecting the character of the building as much as possible. 120 Broadway Restoration and Modernization

Completed in 1915, 120 Broadway (known as the “Equitable Building”) is a 40-story building in Lower Manhattan that spans an entire city block and was the largest office building in the world at the time of its opening. Retail is enhanced with expanded glass storefronts and lobby entrances, bringing the architecturally-significant space back into the public realm as originally intended. Colony Square

Renewal of Colony Square, Atlanta's original mixed-use development, pulls retail and dining closer to the street with new contemporary additions, repurposes underperforming spaces, and invites the public into the previously insular site. Two new office buildings, a food hall, and theatre have reestablished the site as "Atlanta's living room." Located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, Colony Square is poised to become a premier cultural and entertainment destination within a burgeoning commercial, residential, and arts district. A central challenge was softening the hard edges and seemingly impenetrable buildings, which made circulation through the complex difficult. Our approach was to dissolve the barriers between Colony Square and the adj... More

Essex Crossing Mixed-Use Development Project

The Essex Crossing Mixed-Use Development is a new vision for the former Seward Park Urban Renewal Area, a site where the existing community was displaced as a result of the urban renewal plans of the 1960s, which was left undeveloped and contested for decades.
