Two Cents

To steer away from the aesthetic stereotypes in the beauty industry, TWO CENTS envisioned their new space to be interpreted as a coffee shop, with a buzzy vibe to lift any dull spirits while offering much-needed tranquility in Jakarta's one of the busiest district. The main idea is to celebrate brand core values and beliefs of how every small things matter in life, by paying close attention to the details and design elements in the space, such as form, graphic, and quote. A coherent image can be found throughout the space in the form of a chic interior, defined by wood finishes and metal textures that evokes a sense of warmth. The space makes use of the aforementioned materials by incorporating them into the design of a custom-made divide... More

House No.12

Nestled in the suburb of Khar in suburban Mumbai, House no. 12 is an idyllic space amidst the chaos and energy that surrounds Mumbai.  The design brief from the client was to create a home that is suited for a young couple in their early 30’s with a toddler. The aim was to create a space that had a classic, contemporary and modern aesthetic, but at the same time, exude fun, color & eclectic elements through art, accessories, accent furniture and lights. Keeping in mind the design brief as well as the personality, the designers decided to keep the shell of the home neutral and monochromatic in terms of floor and wall finishes, to add an element of layering to the space. Grey ceramic tiles have been used through the living, din... More

Cafe Boba Zilla - Kemanggisan

Boba Zilla settled in West Jakarta, sitting in front of university. “The more the better” is what the client beliefs in the variant product they sell. We reflected this to the splash of POP color to the space. As the brand focus to opening my branches, we take a minimal approach on the design making sure it is easily repeatable, playing with contrasting color yet tied with basic material such as square tiles. Attracting passerby to pop by, the space bring customers to experience the eye-popping and mouth-watering journey altogether. More

Eighty Seven Park

The site is the last piece of land north of North Shore Open Space Park at the limit of the city of Miami Beach. This is just an amazing and unique site, almost suspended between the sea and the park. The main idea of the project is to enhance the presence of the green space in the area of North Shore Park, by extending the green area to the 87th Terrace at the northern limit of the project site. Reducing the footprint of the building to create more space for greenery would best achieve this goal, and orienting the building east-west maximizing the views from Harding Avenue and Collins Avenue towards the ocean.   The architecture will express lightness, transparency and luminosity, with respect to the environment. The building is int... More

Noir et Blanc Apartment

Located nearby universities, the apartment targeted students within the area with the concept of the student center, with facilities that focus on student necessity. The initial design brief is to present Australian vibes with a cold design for the 1+1 Bedroom, and warm for the studio unit. The occupant of the units are students who need a place to easily commuting between the premise and the campus. Taking the student life as consideration, space has to have the capacity to utilize the space for the occupant to have a slow living manner as in enjoying the day by reading books, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, or having friends over, despite the limited area. We end up to adopting black and white as the subject and take the client's love of... More

White Alien

This is a residential interior design called White Alien designed by Amirali Bahmani at AAB ARCHITECT Studio in 2019. INSPIRATIONIn today's world, most spaces, including residential areas are not futuristic. The designer's goal was to create a unique futuristic space that would satisfy the needs of residents in addition to the visual appeal. PROJECT DESCRIPTIONIt is a residential conceptual interior design that fits the project's limitations such as area, floor to ceiling height, column location, shear wall, ceiling beam hanging, walls and installations. To make the space look simple and large, glossy white and black colors have been selected. Since the designer could not move up and down in designing the ceiling, a parametric two-dimensi... More

CHAMAN VILLA

The design of Chaman Villa began with how to deal with existing condition on site; an old residential unit and a pool. We seek to preserve them.  By placing a Cedrus tree at the end of entrance path and redefining this path a structural ax was made in a way that second volume added at the other side of the ax. Since the primary volume was in the basic house form, by playing with slopes and eliminating symmetry, we tried to remodel the archetypal house. These changes were in a way that the public and private zones divided according to their needed areas. Façade transparency between the volumes makes the Cedrus to be seen from the site entry.  More
