Noctambule Suspension

Noctambule collection, designed by Konstantin Grcic, is an ethereal, sculptural light made of cylindrical see-through glass modules that can be interconnected to create floor and pendant lamps, enriched by a glass bowl or cone-shaped head. Modules can be joined together up to six elements to create a stunning lighting column. Almost invisible at daylight, its shape is outlined in the dark by the Strip LEDs hosted at the modules’ base and connecting rings which provide diffused, warm light, giving a fascinating atmosphere to any environment. While brighter, direct light beams from the Cob LEDs located at the base of the shade ensure, where necessary, maximum definition of objects. More

Victoria Beckham Store

The Victoria Beckham flagship store is located within a three-storey Georgian townhouse on Dover Street in London’s Mayfair and was designed by the architect Farshid Moussavi. Modelled on the typology of a gallery, it has a simple frameless glass frontage without a window display, encouraging views of a dramatic, three-storey interior. The design aims to provide the sense of transience, unpredictability and exploration that underpins fashion itself. A concrete door, cast as a negative of one of the windows of the Georgian façade above, slides open to give access to three floors within. Responding to the growth of online shopping, which allows fashion brands to provide customers with choice, the spatial experience of the Victo... More

Project • By ater.architectsApartments

This compact apartment of 65 sq.m has been designed for a young couple whose main desire was to get the most light and minimalistic space possible.   That is why, we transformed the initial fractional layout with many separate rooms and corridors into a common space, with only the bedroom area separated. As zoning elements, curtains of intense cobalt colour were used, which are the unifying motive of the entire apartment.   The main colour scale of the apartment is restrained, almost monochrome. Such a decision is motivated by the ambition to balance the vigorous coloured accents and make the space brighter and airier while maintaining some rigour. For this reason, a ceiling was brought down only in the kitchen and bathroom ar... More
