The Cove

The first Cove clothing retail store was designed on a vacant urban infill parking lot located in the heart of Austin's South Congress (SoCo) shopping district. Large butt-glazed glass panels were used to take advantage of the views of the site's beautiful live oak trees and connect to the surrounding pedestrian traffic. More

Site planning We divided the entire building into a front and rear building in a courtyard-like configuration similar to China. The front building is for the public domain and the main funded member families, and the rear building is for other family members and ancillary spaces. The semi-open air spa area serves as its transition space. The atrium between the two buildings provides sunlight and green plants and can be brought into the activities of family members.   Architectural design Front building This base is lower than the main road, so we first set the elevation of the original  base as a basement, and the first floor is raised and suspended; this type of tall house architecture similar to the South Island nation.... Restaurant Zürichberg

According to the motto: “Today begins the future of the past”, by Sorell Hotels Switzerland, we oriented ourselves for the restaurant renovation to the typical architectural features of the Art Nouveau halls above the restaurant and reinterpreted them in a contemporary way. The artful neon installations on the ceiling of the restaurant recall the listed stucco work, while geometrical wall reliefs made of light beige fiberglass concrete reflect the subject of the dark wooden panelling. Chairs with textile surfaces in rich colors provide an exciting contrast to the warm room colors. “The ideas of Karsten Schmidt and his team have conviced us right from the beginning, because they are related to the big renovation in 1995&rd... Giahi Tattoo

The new Giahi Tattoo & Piercing Studio in the former Falken Pharmacy in the heart of Lucerne’s old town apperas in an old rose color and contrasting, light, minimal and linear elements. In addition to four tattoo and one piercing rooms on the 1st floor, on the ground floor clients can find piercings, jewelery, accessories and care products presented on filigree, under-lit shelving systems, even more emphasized by glass cubes and drawer furniture. The self-designed aluminum-clad cashier desk and the coffee counter top made of solid Verde Maritaca granite make very clear statements. Not to be overlooked is the new suspended metal staircase, which sets a great accent with its filigree contrasting the first two concrete steps in the... More

Sorell Hotel Zürichberg

The renovated and modernized Sorell Hotel Zürichberg is a boutique hotel in the 4 * standard range. The unusual and individual interior design is based on the independence of the architecture and history. The spatial implementation based on the reform style and the surroundings has been interpreted in a contemporary way and thus conveys more proximity to the destination. The design strategy is reduction & multifunctionality. The rooms appear light, elegant and personal. The "Swissness" is represented beyond traditional clichés. True to the motto "Think global, act local", the design is local, valuable, durable, handcrafted and therefore sustainable. More

Whizar office

From the top floor of a luxury Tel  Aviv skyscraper to an old printing houseRight after Whizar, a young Israeli startup, obtained 3 million dollars in investment, they moved from a premier top-floor office to an industrial old building, used as a modest printing house,  in the workshops area of Tel Aviv.   The luxury old office was never fitting for the founder’s vibes. Their decision to leave the coworking space coincided with the arrival of COVID-19.   Together with architect Manor Brown we provide the company white, bright, clean and optimistic aesthetic. However, it was important for all parties to preserve the original industrial design of the building: Concrete floors, high ceilings, wide steel windows fr... More

Extreme Minimalism

The apartment in Rehavia was designed for a family of seven. The owners, a religious couple,  modest and minimalist by nature, are design oriented with acute attention to detail. Their desire was to create a house that would convey a sense of serenity, harmony and simplicity while being spacious and welcoming, emphasizing the boundary between public and private spaces.  For the purpose of formulating the spaces, a restrained composition of white and wood materials was used, permeating all the spaces of the house, creating boundaries between public and private, intimate and distanced, warm and cold. The public spaces of the house, the kitchen, the dining room and living room are surrounded by white walls and paved with light tiles... More

Bedroom by Futuris Architects

“Somewhere for the mind to find balance and the body to relax.” This is how our co-founder Albert Galstyan describes this bedroom  A collision of cold grey and warm brown, this bedroom is an embodied comfort. Being an imprescriptible part of the interior, the bed is surrounded by carefully chosen details. A wall mirror for morning and evening routines, reading lamps, and those delicate curtains. We aimed to create a space for You to come to after a long, tiring day, and enjoy the silence. After all, isn’t that the function of a bedroom? #futurishome #futurisarchitects #interiordesign #bedroom More

My home- My story

An outdated house from the ’70s with a standard plan needed to be thoroughly renovated and redesigned to meet the needs and requirements of the family.   The challenge was to create a sense of expansion within the existing space, without changing the physical size.   We wanted to design a beautiful, simple and sophisticated home which would be functional and flooded with natural light to create a large, open and inviting space with an unusually large kitchen to complement our love for entertaining and cooking.   All interior walls were knocked down, and one wall was added to separate the work area from the main space. The kitchen is 12 meters long and in the center is a spacious dining table that functions as the... More

Furniture for the National Audiovisual Institute

The furniture project for the new building of the National Audiovisual Institute occurred as a result of research amongst users of the space. The principle of balance was applied as the right answer to the identified needs of employees; providing balance between dominant and neutral colours, standardized and untypical forms as well as different character between spaces for employees and visiting NInA guests.   As a result colourful mobile couches traveling between different zones became the foremost bonding element. The rest of the furniture made of white and black plywood strictly relate to the recognized functional needs of Institute’s employees.   In overall, more than forty different models of furniture were designed... TTG had a clear concept: they required an office that visually presented their core business. And what could be more appropriate for a designer and installer of technical systems than using a purposeful of technology like air conditioning systems and cabling as an eye catcher? As a result, the ceilings have become an essential part of the interior design. They are open above the work zones and all the technical systems, cables and pipes are visible and clearly present. The traffic zones, on the other hand, are characterised by a suspended ceiling made from black expanded metal sheet illuminated by led lighting. This design touch also automatically draws the eye to the ceiling: by using a different material – the black expanded metal... More
