Manufacturing method of the product, main color scale of the product, graphic design of the product and product effects were analysed on the begining of the design. First of all, physical condition of space, properties, product research, story of space were evaluated. Then selection of material fictionalised and material production methods were determined. Firstly, designs were transfered to conceptional Project and turned to be sketches. The adequacy of manufacturing was determined with sketches and transfered to CAD as application Project 1 and application Project 2. More

To include the building complex very naturally into the environment, it is placed on different landscape levels. The use of typical colours and patterns does not only help to fit the complex into the natural landscape, it also refers to the already existing UPC building. One of the consistent and central points of the whole design is the amazing view over the sea, the Hor Elbateen Island and the Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Mosque. As the building is set north-south there is also a breathtaking outlook on the impressive Abu Dhabi skyline. Placed on different levels all the entries to the building are optimized to always show visitors the beautiful view. The façade of the building is perforated and bivalve – the outer one functions as a sun... More

Bulgari DIVA Windows - Creativity 2013-2014

Marco Piva continues its cooperation with the prestigious brand Bulgari dressing the new 2013-2014 shop windows. The concept was inspired by the just-launched DIVA jewels collection that celebrates the big stars of the past, who have left their personal footprint in the world of style and fashion and who Bulgari wish to honour with magnificent jewels. Last year, the successful introduction of ceramics in the common thread of Bulgari’s corporate identity led Marco Piva to continue research on this material, in order to explore new possibilities and forms of expression. The same concept is enriched with new shapes and emotions: the inspiration of DIVA shop windows comes from evolving experimentations on ceramics and from the shapes and... More

The extensive refurbishment works had to be equally exacting in its execution as this despite an aggressive construction programme which was scheduled to coincide and launch British Fashion Week. Above the shop spaces were private showrooms and their Press Office was housed on the top floor complete with it’s own roof terrace for use as a VIP entertainment space. ARAMstore

Started in 1964 by Zeev Aram in a Kings Road location , the Aram showroom then moved in the '70,s to an ex banana warehouse off Drury Lane in a still run-down Covent Garden. In 2000 the building adjacent, which fronted Drury Lane, became available and the idea for a new ARAMstore was conceived as a 2,000 sqm home to the best collection of modern furniture in London. Inspired by a recent trip to Soho in New York David Walker of Walker and Martin worked closely with Zeev Aram to produce a space which had a warehouse feel, letting the furniture inhabit the spaces and allowing for different display opportunities. The wall between the two buildings was demolished, and the gap between them glazed over to form an atrium. Each building had a diff... More
