Andy Marshall (@fotofacade) is an architectural photographer with an informed understanding of the built environment. Throughout that time he has developed a distinctive visual relationship with architectural form and space, which translates uniquely into his photography.
His images have appeared in books and magazines all over the world.
Awards include the College of Estate Management Harold Samuel Prize for his thesis on Genius Loci in Architecture. In 2010 he won the BE2 Award for best use of photography in social media. In 2011 he was positioned amongst the most influential people in the built environment (UK) on Twitter according to the tCn Top 100. Again in 2011 he was listed as one of the Independent Newspaper voices of the year.
Working with the latest mobile technology and apps Andy, through his social media presence, has connected tens of thousands of people with the visual magic of the built environment, often underpinning important campaigns or highlighting architectural form through visual play,.
