Skye Ruozzi

Skye Ruozzi

Student from Brooklyn, United States
Hailing from the lush mountain forests of the Shenandoah Valley, Skye is excited by that which connects people across disparate distances of space and mind, regardless of their gender, race, age, or attire. She has been involved in architectural interventions with the INTERNATIONAL DESIGN CLINIC, working as a designer and builder on FENCEPOCKET, CHAINLINKGREEN, and MOBILEPLAYGROUND (BOLIVIA) projects. She began working with installation art as one-third of the EGG CHAMBER team. After an exciting season of building and subsequently touring with the ever-evolving MANTIS GARDEN, she was so moved by its impact as to push for the foundation of TRANSFORMATIVE ART COLLECTIVE. She is currently studying at PRATT INSTITUTE in the pursuit of refining the skills necessary to bring this spirit into the realm of Architecture. When not designing, she is an active social architect, serving in the name of another conduit of connection: coffee. She is proud to be a part of the Brooklyn-based KITTEN COFFEE family, rotating through the roles of graphic designer, espresso machine technician, and barista.
