George Vassiliades

Architect from Limassol, Cyprus
George studied with a scholarship to the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of the former Yugoslavia, where in 1983 he was awarded with the Diploma of Architect Engineer with excellent performance. He immediately began his occupation with the architectural profession and from 1984 to 1989 he worked as an architect in a development and construction company in Limassol. In 1989 he co-founded with Stalli Talea a freelance architectural firm in Limassol. In 2007, the firm acquired its present form as a company called "Vassiliades Architects". During his thirty-year course at the profession, George designed and supervised a three-digit number of public and private projects throughout Cyprus and Greece. He has worked with many engineers and firms of the construction industry. Several of his architectural studies and works were published in printed and electronic journals. He is a member of ETEΚ (Technical Chamber of Cyprus) and of the Cyprus Architects Association.
